Every year, the World Economic Forum convenes heads of state, business, and the scientific community to discuss strategies for critical challenges like climate change and developing a more sustainable food system.
Today, Full Harvest was selected as a 2019 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, which means we’ll be able to contribute to these conversations and share ideas for how to reduce global food waste - a top contributor to climate change.
It’s an enormous honor to be a member of the 2019 Technology Pioneer class with other global thought leaders. This year’s list of innovators span several industries including agtech, supply chain, manufacturing, cleantech, and 25 percent are female-founded or led companies like Full Harvest. In the past, companies we know and admire such as Airbnb, Google, Kickstarter, Mozilla, and Twitter have been selected as WEF Technology Pioneers.
We’re thrilled to be recognized on a global scale among others that are doing work to lead to real change. As a Technology Pioneer, we’re looking forward to partnering with the global community and extending Full Harvest’s mission to reduce food waste and create new opportunities for farmers.
